We are excited to announce the investment of a majority share by SiVEST in De Villiers Sheard who are located in
Rondebosch, Cape Town.
The new Company will be called DEVS-SiVEST (Pty) Ltd.
Founded in 1952, SiVEST celebrates 70 years of providing Professional Services to the built environment serving clients in the Industrial, Infrastructure and Building sectors. SiVEST has been and is involved in projects throughout Africa, Mauritius, and the United Kingdom.
de Villiers Sheard (DEVS) will celebrate 40 years of existence in March 2023. Started as a Structural Engineering
consultancy, it now covers Civil, Mechanical and Wet services in the building industry. Whilst remaining based in
Rondebosch, deVS have been involved with a variety of projects throughout South Africa and Africa including current
projects in Mozambique, Benin, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia.
SiVEST and de Villiers Sheard decided to seek mutual affiliation because we believe that together our combined
organization will allow us to provide a wider range of complementary professional services in and from the three major
economic hub urban centres in South Africa.
de Villiers Sheard and SiVEST share the same values. DEVS-SiVEST will continue the service excellence with an
increased depth of capability.
